It is supposed to be 1000 years ago the game of poker has evolved across a wide spectrum of civilizations. One of the most popular beliefs is that the Chinese invented a game similar to poker sometime before 969 A.D. Some states that the game Poker is originated from Persian game "as nas,” a 5-player game in which a special deck of 25 cards with 5 suits are required. To some people the origin of poker is evolved in the French “poque”, a card game involving bluffing and betting. In the 12th & 13th centuries the Egyptians are found to have used a form of playing cards, and in 16th century Persia “Ganjifa” or “Treasure Cards” were used for a variety of betting games, all of these are suppose to be the symbols of poker.
From that day on Poker is divided into two sections. One of them is 5 card studs. Another is 7 card studs. Today Texas Hold’em is the most popular of the three and is regularly played in leading online poker rooms, as well as in land-based casinos throughout the world.
